Current Job Description/exposure:

·         Handling queries from the social compliance auditors concerning labour laws from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh & Nepal

·         To keep track of any amendments/changes in labour laws in the Indian subcontinent and to update the same in the law profile/database of labour laws

·         To train the auditors about the existing legal framework in India

·         To track corporate social responsibility programs/developments across the globe.  It includes constant study of any happenings in the CSR [Corporate social responsibility] field, for example, environment, labour issues, global trade & agreements, legal actions, corporate stewardship

·         To work on projects for international clients for CSR benchmarking, developing client code of conduct or any personalized business requirement

·         To provide assistance in preparation of consultation material for factories on EHS [Environment, Health, Safety] issues and Wage & hour aspects.

·         To provide clarifications/explanations to client service managers & reviewers located globally on labor queries in the Indian Subcontinent.

·         To audit factories in northern India occasionally along with full time auditors

·         To research on any matter which is of vital business importance to clients, auditors and the training department.
